Bermuda for Handicapped Visitors
No CommentsThe majority of large resort hotels are accessible to handicapped visitors; most of the smaller ones are not. Many of the larger shops and stores cater to the handicapped traveler, but smaller ones do not. Pink and Blue public buses are not equipped to handle wheelchairs, but the ferries can handle them quite easily. The Bermuda Physically Handicapped Association does, however, have a bus with a hydraulic lift. It’s operated by volunteers, and you can make arrangements in advance.
