Royal Mail post boxes, called pillar-boxes (just like
the ones in England) where you can deposit mail. Mail is collected
from them daily. Letters and postcards take at least a
week to reach the US or the UK, so be sure to mail your
cards during the first day or two of your visit or else you may
arrive home before they do.
