The Ceasar- Shipwreck Diving Bermuda

The Caesar was an English wooden sailing ship built in Durham, England, 1814.

On July 3rd, 1818, Caesar was enroute from England to Baltimore with a cargo of grindstones, medicine, glassware, clock parts and lead oxide when she fouled the reef about three miles west of Ely’s Harbour and sank. Today she lies in pieces in 35 feet of water, not far from the wreck of the Blanch King. She’s been thoroughly worked over since her discovery, but you can still see a part of her cargo of grinding wheels, and you might, if you’re lucky, find an old bottle or two.
