Horizons and Cottages Bermuda is a deluxe cottage colony set atop a hill overlooking Coral Beach, which is a 10-minute walk away. Horizons Main House, with its whitewashed keystone corners, knee-high cedar fireplaces and tray ceilings designed for coolness and airiness, is a gem of pure Bermudian architecture,. Horizons first opened as a cottage colony in 1922; today, it operates as a traditional Bed & Breakfast inn

All guest rooms are furnished with Italian terra-cotta tile floors, scatter rugs, traditional tray ceilings, and ceiling fans. They have separate dressing areas and private terraces overlooking the ocean. Some units are split-level. The generous tiled bathrooms come with oversize mirrors, and tub/shower combinations.

Facilities include a restaurant; bar; heated freshwater pool; 9-hole golf course, 18-hole putting green; croquet; 3 tennis courts; access to nearby Coral Beach & Tennis Club for more tennis, squash, snorkeling gear, health club, and spa; access to nearby bike and scooter rentals; massage; babysitting; laundry service; nonsmoking rooms.

The Middleton Room is Horizons on-site restaurant. The menu is “French cuisine naturelle,” which means the serve fresh products and includes steaks and fresh seafood dishes. Lunch is served daily on the terrace, which is transformed into an entertainment area in the evenings, with informal dancing and, at times, calypso music.
