Bacardi National Par-3 Golf Championship - Bermuda Golf Adds a New Tournament

Fairmont Southampton Golf CourseBermuda golf has just become a little more attractive. The Bacardi National Par-3 Golf Championship is a two-day, 36-hole championship golf tournament with a Pro-Am to played on Friday, April 9 while the tournament proper will be played April 10 to 11, 2010. The venue is the Fairmont Southampton golf course. The Bacardi National Par-3 Championship will include amateur and professional golfers and is sanctioned by the Bermuda Golf Association and the Professional Golfers' Association of Bermuda. The tournament will include two divisions: Professional and Amateur –  men and ladies will be included in both divisions. This year’s event will benefit the Bermuda Red Cross.

Tournament entry forms can be downloaded at the Fairmont Southampton website or at Fairmont Southampton golf shop. The entry fee for professionals is $225,  for amateurs it’s $175. The fee includes tournament fees, a practice round of golf and a welcome cocktail reception on Friday, April 9.The deadline for entry is March 15, 2010.
