Shelby Bay Beach Bermuda

Shelby Bay Beach Bermuda
Shelly Bay Beach (South Road) Heading east along South Shore, you enter Hamilton Parish, where you’ll find Shelly Bay Park. This is a great place to spend a day. A beach house sells snacks, soft drinks and ice cream, and there are bathrooms, changing rooms and rental lockers for stowing away those odds and ends that always seem to get lost in the sand. Rent snorkeling equipment here ($5/hour), towels ($2.50/day), loungers ($12/day) and umbrellas ($2.50/day). Like to go sailing? Try a Hobie Cat ($40/ first hour, $15/each extra hour) or something slower like a peddle boat ($25/first hour, 10/each additional hour). The beach offers lots of clean sand (though somewhat gritty) and crystal-clear waters shallow enough for small children. A playground in the park has swings, slides and climbing frames galore – enough to keep even the most active kids happy for an hour or two.
