Elbow Beach Bermuda

Elbow Beach Bermuda
Elbow Beach is the jewel in Paget’s crown. This magnificent stretch of pink sand is only partially open to the public; the eastern section is the private domain of the Elbow Beach Hotel and can be accessed only through the hotel grounds. The western section of the beach, however, is one of the best beaches on the islands (at least in our opinion). To reach it, take the bus or a scooter along South Road to Tribe Road #4. From there it’s but a short walk along the Tribe Road to the beach. There you’ll find changing facilities, beach chairs and a couple of nice cafés/restaurants where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. The $5 fee (payable as you enter the beach) entitles you to the use of all the facilities. The beach itself is a world of dunes and shore where you can relax, swim and sunbathe to your heart’s content. The water is clear and inviting, ideal for a family outing, but you do need to keep an eye on the younger members; don’t let them play in the water unattended.
