Bermuda South Side Scuba - Bermuda Dive Operators
SOUTH SIDE SCUBA, at what once was the Sonesta Beach Resort Bermuda, operates daily, March through November, from 8:30 am until 5 pm. Excursions depart daily, weather permitting, at 9 am. The company offers a range of excursions and packages as follows:
- The Morning Two-Tank Dive takes divers to two sites, usually one dive over a shipwreck and one over the reef. The cost of the half-day excursion is $65 and includes the use of equipment.
- The Single-Tank Dive takes divers, depending upon experience, to depths of 30 to 80 feet. The cost for the two-hour trip is $60 and includes the use of equipment.
- Lesson and Dive. You’ll learn the basics of scuba diving in the hotel pool and then dive to depths of 10 to 25 feet over the reef from a dive boat under the supervision of an instructor. The fee is $95 for the three-hour package (this includes all necessary equipment).
- The Repeat Beginners Dive is a repeat of any single-tank dive under the close supervision of a qualified instructor. The cost is $60.
- The Night Dive lasts for 2½ hours and is for experienced divers only. The cost is $75; full details are available on request.
- The Five-Dive Package is for experienced divers only. Full details and prices are available on request.
- Snorkeling is offered for $25 per person, which includes the use of equipment. There is a $10 reduction to the fees listed above for divers using their own equipment. Reservations can be made in advance with a Visa or MasterCard. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to dive time.
